NELI - COOPERATION NETWORK NELI – Cooperation Network for logistics and nautical education focusing on Inland waterway transport in the Danube Corridor supported by innovative solutions.
PROJECT SUMMARY NELI project establishes a cooperation network between stakeholders from the Inland Waterway Transport, research/education and administrative sectors along the Danube corridor in order to develop balanced capacities for transnational cooperations in the field of logistics and nautical education and training including regional policy support actions.
Digital divide will be reduced by developing new Inland Waterway Transport eLearning services and courses where still lacking along the Danube countries. Information and Training Centres on Inland Waterway Transport will be designed and partly demonstrated (Romania, Austria) in order to increase public awareness and visibility for this sustainable mode of transport in South-East Europe.
