The Port of Enns is launching a major investment project for the construction of shore power connections for ships. This project is considered an essential step in the European inland waterway infrastructure network and is supported by the EU CEF-2 programme, funded by CINEA, for both the Upper Austrian and Lower Austrian parts of the Ennshafen. The kick-off event for the CEF project took place on 27 January 2025 as a hybrid event. About 20 participants were present on site and another 25 people joined the meeting online.
