ENNSHAFEN ROLL-ON / ROLL-OFF – TERMINAL
Efficient to the last mile.
The roll-on/roll-off terminal offers best-in-class service for heavy lift and project cargo; vehicles and agricultural machines can drive straight on and off vessels, with no need for additional facilities. Transshipment to the last mile is an efficient method.
And our ro-ro terminal speeds up this transshipment process even further.
Roll-on/roll-off logistics makes it possible to avoid time-consuming and expensive road transportation over long distances with circuitous routes. The terminal guarantees frictionless and affordable passage of goods for ro-ro transportation, with fast truck access routes ensuring short customs clearance times. The transshipment operations are run on a flexible schedule, starting as soon as the vessel arrives.
In addition, there are 8,500 square meters of storage space available, directly connected to the ro-ro ramp. This space is designed for maximum safety, protected from flooding, fenced off, well-lit, and CCTV-monitored.
STAR LINES RO/RO – Liner
Donau Star BG EOOD is the company behind Star Lines, the scheduled ro-ro liner service with connections for high and heavy goods, which runs from Passau, Germany, and Ennshafen, Austria, to the Bulgarian cities of Vidin and Ruse. Upon customer request and given sufficient volume, Star Lines can stop off at any other ro-ro-capable port along the Danube.
