PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
The seanergy project aims to provide a solution to this challenge through the creation of the Seanergy master Plan, which is meant to be an aggregator of information and guidelines that will allow all the port industry’s stakeholders, regardless of their geographical context, to assess, plan and execute the necessary activities towards transforming ports into clean energy hubs.

Ennshafen prepares smart & sustainable mobility investments

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
The aim of the project is to prepare planning for future investments in order to meet the greening requirements in the transport sector. Following areas will be studied:

  • Railway capacity and connectivity within the port area
  • LNG/CNG infrastructure within the port area
  • Shore-side electricity supply
  • Digitalisation concepts for port processes and devices

DIONYSUS
Integrating Danube Region into Smart & Sustainable Multi-modal & Intermodal Transport Chains

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The Danube and its navigable tributaries offer significant free capacity for freight and passengers flows. A prospering waterborne transport sector contributes to a sustainable transport system and regional growth. Besides better fairway conditions, a more modern, energy-efficient fleet, better management of the transport system through comprehensive infrastructure planning and investment solutions are required. The investment needs refer to port infra and superstructure, multimodal connections to port hinterlands.

Essential outputs will consist of Port Development Plans and Operational and Business models to support quality, sustainable development, and investment decisions. All project’s outputs will ensure alignment with specific EU Transport, TEN-T and Cohesion Policy objectives for the period 2014 – 2020 and beyond, including the next Multiannual Financial Framework (2021 – 2027), making DIONYSUS to a key instrument to contribute the EUSDR implementation.

S-PARCS
Envisioning and Testing New Models of Sustainable Energy Cooperation and Services in Industrial Parks

PROJECT OVERVIEW
S-PARCS presents a sound concept for reducing energy costs and energy consumption in industrial parks, while, at the same time, increasing renewable on-site energy production.

The pre-assessment of the seven Lighthouse Parks from Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Austria, which participate in the study, has shown a high potential for joint energy actions, many of which are transferrable to the community of S-PARCS Followers in the UK, Sweden, Turkey, Russia, Italy, Portugal, Austria and Norway.

S-PARCS Nachhaltige Energiekooperationen und –services in Industrieparks

PROJEKTBESCHREIBUNG Das Projekt S-PARCS ist eine wesentliche Plattform zur Steigerung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit durch Erhöhung der Energieeffizienz in Industrieparks. Da Industrieparks nicht alle auf demselben Entwicklungsstand sind, sieht S-PARCS unterschiedliche Unterstützungsleistungen vor. Folglich werden zu Projektende sämtliche „Leuchtturm-Parks“ mit einem IKT-Tool ausgestattet, welches sie bei zukünftigen Entscheidungsprozessen für gemeinsame Investitionen unterstützt.
